Radon mitigation fans are used with under-floor extract and ventilation systems designed to push the gas from underneath the floor of a house and vent it into the atmosphere through a pipe.
Radon is measured in becquerels per cubic metre of air (Bq m3) and the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has set the UK Action Level for radon at 200 Bq m3. Most homes in the UK have radon of around 20 Bq m3. Above 500 Bq3 a radon sump fan installation is usually required. The UT150/SC is a centrifugal fan which can be used for becquerel levels from 0 to 2000+.
Product code: UT150SC/B and UT150SC/W.
